Holiday Office Closure

Our team will be taking a restorative pause from December 22 through January 2. During this time, our office will be closed. We will reopen and resume support on January 5.

We know that grief does not follow a calendar, and this season can be especially tender. While our staff are away, we encourage you to lean on the supports and practices that feel steady for you. We look forward to reconnecting in the new year and continuing to walk alongside you.

About Us

We are a Charitable Organization supporting Individuals, Families and Community Groups who are grieving after the death of a family member, friend, co-worker, colleague. For over 30 years, Bereaved Families of Ontario - York Region has delivered bereavement peer support services by trained volunteers and staff to the York Region Community.

Our programs and services are free of charge, ensuring accessible, timely and compassionate support for hope & healing.
